White River State Park is located east of Tygh Valley in north central Oregon. A short trail winds hikers by an old dam and power station that produced power until the 1960s. As you can see that dam is falling apart and to my surprise the power station was sealed off. A few years before I was able to venture inside the power station and that trip was my main motivation to return. Needless to say I was a little disappointed.
