Smith Rock State Park

Smith Rock State Park is a popular stop for rock climbers and hikers when they're near the Bend area. You can see a fair amount of birds nesting in the area and wading in the river. Here are a few shots of climbers scaling the famous monkey face that I took in the afternoon.

I returned the next morning to capture the eastern area of the park. I was blessed with great light, but I would have love to have a little more white puffy clouds. I really enjoyed this shoot and also managed to take a few HDR panos as I continue to explore that technique.
