It was time to head to the National Zoo in DC again. Spring is finally here and the freezing weather is gone. We knew weren't going to be the only animals that wanted to enjoy the sunshine. This was the first time I've seen the new multimillion dollar area built just for the giant pandas. It gave the pandas a lot of room to roam and us photographers multiple venues to shoot from. The 9 month old tiger cubs were all over 100 lbs and looking full grown. The gorillas made great subjects as usual. And we managed to catch a few interesting birds as well.
