Brookside Gardens is a mid sized park located just north of the DC Beltway and not too far from our home base. A special addition is a greenhouse turned butterfly habitat. Most of the butterflies are non-native to the area making this one of the few chances to see these species. It was overcast, so the light was pretty flat. These shots are the few that made the cut. You can see that I played with depth of field in a fair amount of these shots.
