Anyone who has any interest in surfing knows about Oahu's North Shore. However, Kona isn't famous for big waves. There are rare times when the Kona coasts gets lucky. This was one of those times. The waves were around 6-10 feet with some good clean sets. Even with the high surf warning some locals took to the water.
