Lancaster County, Pennsylvania has an incredible collection of intact covered bridges. It's easy to see that they care about preserving their historic structures. Most of the covered bridges are well maintained and in many cases fully restored or even completely rebuilt. Being that this trip was only 2 days long, I chose to focus on the bridges in the southern half of the county. Unfortunately, most of these shots are in midday light and the sky was nearly cloudless and quite hazy; however the trip was well worth it just to scout the bridges. The plan is to return in the fall and reshoot my favorites.
