It started as a cloudy day in mid May 2002. By noon the clouds were burning off so a friend and I decided to take a drive to the coast.
Astoria, Oregon was our first stop.
We decided to cross the Columbia river and explore the Washington coast. What a great decision that was.
Our last stop was Fort Stevens State Park in Warrenton, Oregon. The fort was closed but we made it just in time to see the wreck
of the "Peter Iredale". I wrecked at Clatsop Beach in 1906. We timed the tides perfectly. It turned out to be a great shoot.
Happy shooting, Justin.
