MD Renaissance Festival

The Maryland Renaissance Festival runs from the end of August to the middle or September. Its amazing to see the amount of people dressed up in period clothing, most of which are volunteers. They have a permanent area a little over an acre large with multiple stages and acts all performing at the same time. Of course my favorite is the jousting, but most of the shows were quite entertaining. It's easy to spend a day there and not see everything. A must see if your visit to Maryland is timed correctly.
