A Day Trip To Seattle
A rare, cloudless January
Day in the Northwest motivated us to take a trip to Seattle. It's a little
less then a 3 hour drive from our Portland, OR home base. After a lovely
sleepless night we hit the road at 6:00 am. We ended up staying a little
late so we could get some night shots and take a little walk around the
town. Of course we had to visit Seattle's landmark, the Space Needle. |
One of the most talked
about viewpoints in Seattle is Kerry St. Park. It offers a great, close
view of the city and the Space Needle. |

Another great viewpoint
is Gasworks Park. It's quite a ways away from the city, but the lake provides
for some excellent reflections. It was completely dark when we got there
so we didn't get a good look at all the pipes and tanks that make Gasworks
Park famous. |

Here's
a few panoramas that I shot on this trip: |
