The Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa was as short stop on the last full day of the vacation. We were all quite worn out from all the running around. It was a hot day, high 80s, and humid, which contributed to shortness of the visit. We still managed to tour most of the zoo. Unfortunately my favorite animals, the big cats, were all hiding or sleeping so I didn't get any shots worth posting. While I wouldn't call Tampa's zoo a must see, it would be a good stop if you have a free day in the Tampa area.
