A Short Drive Through 3 States

As Fall hit its peak, or in some places slightly past its peak, I found some free time to take a 3 day, 947 mile drive. Being that this trip was hastily planned, I had some success and a few failures, but it was great research for next year. I missed at least one covered bridge and arrived to find out that The Greenbrier's Congressional Bunker was closed for renovation. However, both the Mabry and Glade Creek mills seemed like they were designed with photographers in mind. It was nice to get out of town and go on the road trips I used to love when I lived in Portland. Hopefully, I'll have more chances to take trips like this in the near future.
