The Rose Festival Air Show is a well know summer event in Portland. The event normally draws around 75,000 people to the small Hillsboro Airport. After arriving at around 10am we took a stroll through the static displays. Here's a few shots from that walk through:

Of course the reason people attend an air show is to see some planes in flight. Here's a few shots of aerobatic stunt flights:

 

Another highlight for me was the US Navy Parachute Team called the "Leap Frogs". They're all US Navy SEALs. They were flown in by a US Air Force C-130.

The show included quite a few examples from our military services. Seeing the Stealth fly over was a pleasant surprise. It's incredibly quite.
