2002 League NW Skateboarding Contest

 

The Chehalem Skate Park in Newberg, OR is one of the largest cement skate parks in the country. The design of the park includes areas for all skill levels. This is one reason that this park is a great setting for contests. These shots were taken at The League Northwest contest on Aug 24, 2002. The skaters ranged from 5 to 50 years old but of course most were in their teens. Here are some shots from a perfect day for skateboarding:
